Year 6
Make verbs with the endings -ate, -ise and -ify from nouns and adjectives (Y5-6 spelling)
Story. The sports club wants to modernise its website, and it plans to computerise the bookings. The coach says that a purified water bottle will help the team, and that the club must classify the results.

Many verbs are made from nouns and adjectives. The endings are -ate, -ise and -ify. Some words drop a final letter before the ending. Active becomes activate when the e is dropped. Beauty becomes beautify when the y is dropped.
