What we collect

For accounts: name, email address, and the country, language, currency, and time-zone preferences you set. For tutors who choose to publish: the profile content you enter, an optional portrait, and any documents you submit for verification. For inquiries: the contact details and message you send to a tutor. We also keep basic technical logs.

What we deliberately do not collect

We do not ask for a child full name, photograph, school, or home address, and tutors are asked not to request them through the inquiry form. We do not publish exact home addresses for tutors, only general service areas.

Why we process it

To operate the directory, to let parents contact tutors, to moderate profiles and handle safety reports, to verify manual payments for featured listings, and to meet legal obligations.

Sharing

An inquiry you send is shared with the tutor you contacted. Verification documents and payment receipts are stored privately and are visible only to you and to authorised reviewers. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Verification documents and payment receipts are retained under a configurable retention policy and then removed or anonymised. Financial and audit records are retained for as long as the law requires. Inquiries are retained for a limited period and then removed.

Your rights

You can export your account data and request deletion from your account settings. Some records, such as financial and audit entries, may be retained in anonymised form where the law requires it. The precise rights available to you depend on where you live and must be confirmed by legal review.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a first-party cookie to remember the country you selected, and a cookie to remember that you dismissed a country suggestion. Advertising is disabled and no advertising personalisation cookies are set.
