Terms of use
Version 2026-01. Last updated 10 September 2026.
Draft for legal review. This wording is a starting point only. It must be reviewed against the laws of the jurisdiction the platform operates in, and against consumer, data-protection, advertising, and child-safeguarding rules in every market where it is published, before launch.
Our role
This platform is a directory, advertising, and introduction service. We publish tutor profiles and let parents and guardians contact tutors. We are not a party to any teaching arrangement made between a parent and a tutor.
Independent tutors
Tutors are independent. They are not our employees, agents, or partners. They set their own fees, decide their own methods and schedules, and are responsible for their own tax, insurance, licensing, and safeguarding obligations.
Payments
We do not collect tuition, hold funds, process lesson payments, or take a commission on lessons. Fees shown on a profile are informational. Parents and tutors agree and settle payment between themselves. The only payment we accept is from a tutor for an optional featured advertising placement.
What we do not guarantee
We do not guarantee lesson delivery, tutor availability, tutor performance, teaching quality, learning outcomes, that a parent will pay a tutor, or that a tutor will receive students or income. Verification badges record a specific check that took place and are not endorsements or guarantees.
Acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, must not impersonate anyone, and must not use the platform to harass, defraud, or endanger anyone. We may suspend or remove accounts and profiles that breach these terms.
Accounts
Accounts are for adults. We do not create accounts for children and we do not publish child profiles. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be published here with a new version reference, and continued use after that point indicates acceptance.
Liability
Nothing in these terms attempts to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. The extent of any other limitation depends on the governing law, which must be confirmed by legal review before launch.
